Margaret Mutschler, CWP Global Interview ahead of World Hydrogen Congress 2023

Ahead of World Hydrogen Congress 2023, Margaret Mutschler, Vice President, Project Development from CWP Global gave an interview  on the unique challenges of the enormous CWP Global's 170GW project pipeline. The potential positive impact of the green hydrogen industry on it's host countries and the need to mitigate any environmental impacts and form truly long term partnerships with all the stakeholders for everyone's mutual benefits.

Hydrogen is positioned as a key energy vector in the search for alternative sources to the use of fossil fuels in mobility and to curb climate change. However, its use presents some storage challenges. Hydrogen has a very low density (about 13 times lower than air) and at room temperature it occupies a large volume, making it difficult to store. Therefore, the most economical way to densify this gas is to compress it to very high pressures (between 350 and 900 bar) for storage prior to use. Hiperbaric's hydrogen compression technology consists of a range of compressor units that offer a complete Plug&Play solution for dispensing compressed hydrogen at high pressures safely, efficiently and reliably. These compressor units are adaptable to any production and demand level, and at different inlet pressures (from 20 bar) and delivery pressures (up to 500 or 950 bar). Hiperbaric's compression technology solutions are designed with high quality, robust and reliable components, using materials with advanced properties for maximum strength and safe operation.
